Learning from Psychological Perspective
This presentation explores learning through the lens of three foundational psychological perspectives: classical conditioning, operant conditioning, and social learning theory. It highlights how Ivan Pavlov’s research on associations and B.F. Skinner’s focus on consequences explain the mechanical side of behavior. Furthermore, Albert Bandura’s work demonstrates that humans also learn by observing and imitating others in a social context. By examining famous experiments like Pavlov’s dogs and the Bobo doll study, we see how these theories apply to our daily habits and education. Ultimately, learning is revealed to be a complex blend of environmental triggers, personal experiences, and social influences.
